Kushikilia Impact Initiative (KII-IMPACT) is a dedicated social enterprise committed to empowering entrepreneurs in Uganda, particularly women, out-of-school youth, and unemployed graduates. Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to establish and sustain successful businesses, thereby contributing to economic growth and job creation in the region.
Founded in 2017 as a program under Innovent Financial Consult, KII-IMPACT emerged from a deep-rooted desire to address the challenges faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda. Recognizing the vital role SMEs play in the country’s economy, we set out to provide practical solutions to empower entrepreneurs and foster business growth.
In 2023, KII-IMPACT transitioned into an independent entity, solidifying our commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and driving positive change in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
We recognize the crucial role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda’s economy, as they provide up to 90% of the country’s jobs. However, over 70% of these businesses fail within their first two years. KII-IMPACT aims to address this challenge by offering practical financial knowledge, business training, mentorship, and access to capital.
